OK, I guess its my turn to give some advise that has made me a ton of cash. I have done an e-mailer that was cold but the results I got back were 38% booked from that mailing.

The reason it was so high is the fact that I know they are looking for me I just took the time to help them find me. For those of you that perform in festivals and fairs know what I mean.

The event planers for these events are small business owners that really do not have a lot of contacts for entertainment. They need us. Now here is the list I used and it will work for any state.

It gives you all the contact info and person you need to talk to for the booking. They all have “opted in” on the list that you will pop up so they will not be antagonistic for a random email.

The way I did it was just a little personal note telling them that I am in the area and "specialize" in festival magic and entertainment, AND if they want more info just drop me a email... I heard from 75 out of a hundred sent and booked 38 of them.
